Daily crude steel output at CISA key mills rose 4.5% in early January

Daily crude steel output across CISA key mills averaged 1.97 million mt in the first 10 days of January

SHANGHAI, Jan 20 (SMM) – Daily crude steel output across China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) key mills averaged 1.97 million mt in the first 10 days of January, up 85,000 mt, or 4.52% from the December 21-31 period, according to the latest data from CISA.

As of January 10, inventories of steel products across those mills stood at 10.5 million mt, up 969,700 mt or 10.17% from December 31.
