SHANGHAI, Oct 23 (SMM) – The US Department of Commerce has announced its final determinations in the antidumping duty and countervailing duty investigations of imports of aluminium wire, cable imports from China, accusing Chinese exporters of selling aluminum wire and cable at less than fair value in the US at rates of 58.51-63.47%.
According to the release by the Commerce Department on October 22, exporters from China were also determined to have received countervailable subsidies at rates of 33.44-165.63%.
In 2018, US imports of aluminum wire and cable from China were valued at an estimated $115 million.
