China ferronickel imports jump 88% YoY in Aug

About 24,753.19 mt of nickel was imported into China in the form of FeNi and NPI in Aug

SHANGHAI, Sep 26 (SMM) – About 24,753.19 mt of nickel was imported into China in the form of ferronickel (FeNi) and nickel pig iron (NPI) in August, showed Customs data.

This was up 11,583.1 mt, or 87.95% from a year ago.

In metal content, NPI accounted for about 11,200 mt.
