A 6.4 magnitude earthquake occurred in the waters near Maluku Province, Indonesia

SMM, 22 Sept: Indonesia Meteorological, Climate and Geophysical Bureau said 22, the country's Maruku province waters near the morning of the 6.4 magnitude earthquake, there are no casualties and property losses reported. According to the bureau's website, the quake occurred at 02:53 Jakarta time (03:53 Beijing time). The epicenter was 165 kilometers northwest of Taninbar Island County, Maluku Province, with a focal depth of 11 kilometers.

Indonesia is prone to earthquakes, engineering design has been taken into account, in general, earthquakes have little impact on nickel mine production, SMM will continue to follow up on the impact of the event.
