Long steel social inventories in Guangzhou extend gains by 2.3% on week

Stocks 2.3% from a week ago to 881,300 mt as of Sep 11

SHANGHAI, Sep 11 (SMM) – Social inventories of long steel, including wire rods and rebar, in Guangzhou of Guangdong province, rose this week for a second straight week, gaining 2.3% from a week ago to 881,300 mt as of Wednesday September 11, showed SMM data.

The stocks were 20.96% higher than the same period last year.

Rebar accounted for 462,400 mt, up 0.87% from a week ago and 6.77% from a year ago.

Stocks of wire rods rose 3.92% week on week and 41.76% year on year to 418,900 mt.
