SMM, Sept. 6 / PRNewswire-Asianet /-

Prices of praseodymium and neodymium oxide, dysprosium oxide, terbium oxide and gadolinium oxide have all risen this week. The price of praseodymium and neodymium oxide rose from 31.9-323000 yuan / ton at the beginning of the week to 32.5-330000 yuan / ton on Friday, and the price of neodymium oxide rose to 32.7-332000 yuan / ton. The price of dysprosium oxide was also raised to 192-1.94 million yuan / ton from 190-1.92 million yuan / ton at the beginning of the week, 393-3.95 million yuan / ton on Friday for terbium oxide and 18183000 yuan / ton for gadolinium oxide. Affected by the shutdown of some upstream smelting and separation plants, the market is expected to tighten the supply of praseodymium and neodymium oxide in the future. Metal and downstream magnetic material enterprises gradually accept the price of praseodymium and neodymium oxide, and Buxing has warmed up in the early stage. Upstream large factory merchants have a strong willingness to push up the price, and have a more positive view on the price trend of praseodymium and neodymium oxide in the future. Dysprosium oxide, terbium oxide, although the previous auction of pan-Asian company unit price lower source and market demand weak, but in the short term, pan-Asian company auction dysprosium oxide and terbium oxide did not enter the market in large quantities, with the slight warming in demand and the tight supply of raw materials, the prices of dysprosium oxide and terbium oxide also rose this week compared with the previous period, gadolinium oxide led to a rise in prices.

At present, although the demand for rare earths has not fully warmed up, but the market confidence is more sufficient, businesses generally hold a optimistic attitude towards the future market, upstream businesses are more willing to raise prices. It is estimated that praseodymium neodymium oxide and neodymium oxide are affected by supply and there is still action energy in the later stage. The price of dysprosium oxide and terbium oxide has not been greatly affected in the pan-Asian auction, and there is no large number of dysprosium and terbium products in the market. Under the premise that the environment of tight raw material supply at the mine end has not improved, it is expected to be affected by the demand boost in September. Dysprosium oxide and terbium oxide prices still exist.

[focus] 2019 China rare Earth permanent Magnet Industry Market Application Development Forum

The trade war between China and the United States has made rare earths become the focus of global attention. China has the largest rare earth industry resources and export dominance in the world, and the world is highly dependent on China's rare earths, especially the United States. How will China make good use of the development advantages of the rare earth industry in the future? how to improve the development of the industry, monitor and crack down on black rare earths in order to standardize the ecological environment of the industry, and whether the rare earth industry has become a rising star after it has been put forward for strategic development? Whether the rare earth enterprise ushered in the tuyere? How will the price of rare earths go? At the 2019 China rare Earth permanent Magnet Industry Market Application Development Forum, SMM will invite industry experts and enterprise bigwigs to interpret the market focus topics for everyone, and provide technical professional guidance for the high-quality development of enterprises, so as to help enterprises have more advantages in the fierce competition. Welcome to the summit, together with the industry!
