SHANGHAI, Sep 3 (SMM) – Sales of heavy trucks in China expanded for a second straight month in August, growing 1.6% from a year ago to stand at about 73,000 units, after a year-over-year increase of 2% in July, according to the latest data from cvworld.cn.
On a monthly basis, heavy truck sales fell for five consecutive months however, decreasing by 4% from July.
The data provider expects heavy truck sales to decline 5-10% in September and extend their losses in the fourth quarter.
