[blockbuster] exports of nickel mines in Indonesia have soared since the end of December!

SMM8, 30 Feb: from the end of December 2019, nickel ores containing less than 1.7 per cent of nickel ores are no longer allowed to be exported, according to (ESDM) Ignasius Jonan, Indonesia's Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. The decision did accelerate, according to the minister of energy and mineral resources, as the government imposed an export ban on exports to take effect in 2022. Nickel prices took off again after the news! LME's three-month nickel rose sharply, rising as much as 7.92 per cent at one point.
