DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsConsultingSHANGHAI, Aug 6 (SMM) – Shanxi Chinalco Huarun has finished constructing its phase-one primary aluminium project, with an annualised capacity of 432,000 mt, according to a news release on the website of Shanxi government on Tuesday August 6.
The project involves 368 electrolytic baths, four sets of flue gas cleaning systems, as well as supporting anode assembling lines and casting capacity. Production of aluminium ingot stood at 53,000 mt in 2018.
The company targets increasing its aluminium alloy capacity to 1 million mt, with three power plants of 660MW in place.
