Fang Zhuo: at present, in the non-ferrous metals industry, Alang's products, market share, accounted for about 35%. Among them, the representative customers are large state-owned and private enterprises such as Chinalco, Nanshan, Weiqiao, and so on, and the customers have experienced the high quality product performance of Alang, as well as the customer-oriented after-sales service experience; there are other representative customers, such as Shandong Meade, Guangxi Yuchai, Shanghai Volkswagen and so on. Especially in scientific research institutes and colleges and universities, Alan has achieved varying degrees of breakthrough, at the same time, has also been recognized by experts. For example, Zhejiang University, South China Technology, and the Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and so on.

SMM: as far as you know, what is the current consumption situation downstream of the aluminum market?

Fang Zhuo: although the downward pressure on China's economy was great in 2019, there was a support for policy, and traditional industries, such as real estate and infrastructure investment, may have rebounded. As a result of recycled aluminum alloy ingot enterprises, to maintain shock weak operation, it is expected that until the first half of next year, downstream consumption is difficult to recover, the automotive industry is still in dire straits, downstream consumption may further decline. At the same time, the panic of enterprises about the trade war is consistent with the expectations of the heart, and has not been alleviated enough. Raw materials, due to supply-side structural reform and environmental pressure, for the waste aluminum industry, more and more stringent, raw material supply is also in a difficult state. Therefore, in the short term, downstream consumption is difficult to pick up.

SMM: recently reported that the infrastructure sector may usher in more positive policies, a number of industry insiders predict that in order to support stable growth, the amount of local debt may be adjusted in the second half of this year. How good do you think the power of infrastructure is for the aluminum industry?

Fang Zhuo: in the face of downward pressure on the economy, allowing local special bonds, as project capital news, quickly ignited market enthusiasm. On 10 June, the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council jointly issued the Circular on the issuance of Special Local Government Bonds and the financing of supporting projects, making it clear that we should strictly control the hidden debt of local governments, resolutely curb the increment of hidden debt, resolutely refrain from borrowing in a disorderly manner, and carry out the road of construction, while allowing local special bonds to be used as capital. The special debt of the government, as the capital of the project, can be magnified how many times, and then collect the funds of the bank and the society, so that it can be changed as soon as possible, and it is embarrassing that the supporting funds for infrastructure projects are insufficient. Therefore, the largest area of aluminum consumption is the construction industry, accounting for 32% of the total consumption, of which real estate accounts for 60.6% of the construction consumption, coupled with the proportion of electricity, transportation and machinery in the infrastructure. Therefore, it is estimated that the proportion of aluminum in infrastructure accounts for 44% of the total aluminum consumption.

With the implementation of the policy of reducing fuel consumption by automobile manufacturers, SMM: has become an important breakthrough for major car companies. What do you think is the impact of automobile lightening on the aluminum industry?.

Fang Zhuo: in order to deal with the environmental and energy shortage caused by the automobile industry, developed countries have formulated strict laws and regulations to limit automobile fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. It is estimated that every 100kg reduction in the car can save 0.3 to 0.5 liters of fuel and reduce CO2 emissions by 8 to 11 grams. Similarly, for new energy vehicles, every 100 kg reduction in the car can increase the battery life by 10%, saving 15 to 20% of the battery cost. Aluminum is the preferred material for automotive lightweight, so, large-scale implementation, automotive lightweight technology and programs, of course, the aluminum industry, will have a very strong role in promoting, however, due to the current weak situation in the automotive industry, it is difficult to short-term, the demand for the aluminum industry, there has been a great improvement.

SMM: as far as you know, has the Sino-US trade war had an impact on the industry? Does the enterprise have anything to express?

Fang Zhuo: the Sino-US trade war is bound to lose both sides and has an impact on both sides. Of course, the impact on the aluminum industry is also obvious. Because, the outbreak of Sino-US trade war, the impact of the aluminum industry, is the first to bear the brunt. The trade war between China and the United States is not only a matter of two international trade disputes, but will lead to major problems in the global supply chain, and ultimately this impact will extend to various industries. Especially for enterprises dominated by export trade, they will face unprecedented challenges. While we are holding groups to keep warm and tide over the difficulties, we also need the government to be able to provide more macro-support policies and expand domestic demand, such as the "Circular on doing a good job in the issuance of Special Local Government Bonds and supporting Project financing" as I mentioned just now. At the same time, the resumption of Sino-US trade negotiations after the recent G20 summit is a good sign. At the same time, we also believe that the Chinese and US governments will certainly consider the principle of double hair from the perspective of the global community of interests, compromise with each other, and eventually reach an agreement.
