Smaller arrivals lower stocks of aluminium billet on week 

SHANGHAI, Jun 20 (SMM) – Inventories of aluminium billet in China decreased this week as fewer deliveries arrived at warehouses and downstream consumption remained moderate. 

SMM data showed that stocks of 6063 aluminium billet across five major consumption areas shrank by some 2,200 mt from Thursday June 13 to stand at 71,700 mt as of Thursday June 20, after a buildup of 10,800 mt in the previous week.

Foshan, Guangdong – 32,300 mt

Wuxi, Jiangsu – 8,500 mt

Changzhou, Jiangsu – 9,000 mt

Huzhou, Zhejiang – 5,500 mt

Nanchang, Jiangxi – 16,400 mt
