Inventories of primary aluminium see smaller decline over weekend

SHANGHAI, Jun 10 (SMM) – Primary aluminium stocks in China declined slower over the holiday-extended weekend.

SMM data showed that social inventories of primary aluminium across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, fell 17,000 mt from Thursday June 6 to stand at 1.131 million mt as of Monday June 10. This was smaller than a drop of 31,000 mt in the previous weekend from Thursday May 30 to Monday June 3.

Nanhai, Guangdong – 254,000 mt

Gongyi, Henan – 91,000 mt

Hangzhou, Zhejiang – 79,000 mt

Tianjin – 53,000 mt

Chongqing –23,000 mt
