Indonesia's stainless steel imports plunged to 4200 tons in April

SMM News: in April 2019, Indonesia imported a total of 4200 tons of stainless steel, down 96.93 percent from the previous month and 95.70 percent from March last year. In April, Indonesian stainless steel imports hit a new low in recent years since they were put into production in Qingshan Indonesia in August 17.

Among them, hot rolled products were imported in April, down 99.37 percent from 79000 tons last month, and cold rolling imports were 3700 tons, down 54.88 percent from 8200 tons last month. Imports of semi-finished steel billets were zero in April, compared with 49800 tons last month!
