SHANGHAI, May 23 (SMM) – Inventories of aluminium billet in China continued to shrink in the week to Thursday May 23 as fewer cargoes entered warehouses, SMM data showed.
Stocks of 6063 aluminium billet across five major consumption areas decreased some 13,900 mt from Thursday May 16 to stand at 79,700 mt as of Thursday May 23, after a decline of 2,900 mt in the previous week.
Foshan, Guangdong – 36,800 mt
Wuxi, Jiangsu – 16,000 mt
Changzhou, Jiangsu – 7,900 mt
Huzhou, Zhejiang – 9,000 mt
Nanchang, Jiangxi – 10,000 mt
