






SMM5, 10 March: the price of dysprosium oxide in the rare earth market has risen continuously this week, rising to 151-1.54 million yuan / ton at present, and the mainstream transaction price of praseodymium and neodymium oxide has dropped from 26.5-267000 yuan / ton before May Day holiday to 26.2-265000 yuan / ton at present. Mainly due to the price of praseodymium and neodymium oxide stabilized and picked up before Labour Day holiday, more downstream enterprises bought more, and the overall demand after the holiday this week was not strong, and the price was slightly reduced.
In the run-up to mid-May, imports of medium and heavy rare earths from Myanmar will be shut down, the southern region has long been affected by environmental inspection factors, medium and heavy rare earth production has remained low, dysprosium oxide this week mainly due to tight supply news affected by rising prices. SMM expects that the prices of medium and heavy rare earths such as dysprosium oxide and terbium oxide will still have room to rise in the future.
