China’s Apr sales of heavy trucks fall 19% on month

Sales fell 19% from Mar and 1% from a year ago to stand at 121,000 units

SHANGHAI, May 5 (SMM) – Sales of heavy trucks in China fell 19% from a month ago and 1% from a year ago to stand at 121,000 units in April, showed the latest data from cvworld.cn.

Some 122,800 heavy trucks were sold in April 2018, marking the highest April sales in history.

Average monthly sales during January-April came in at 111,600 units, barely changed from 111,500 units seen in the same period last year.
