SMM12, March 3 -: Excelsior Mining and (Triple Flag Mining Finance Bermuda), a Danish Sanqi mining and finance company, have completed a $75 million project financing program with $65 million in copper metal flows and $10 million in Excelsior common equity private equity. Through financing, Excelsior will begin construction activities at the Arizona Gunnison copper mine project by the end of the year, the company said in a press release today. "with two important milestones in licensing and construction financing now in place, we look forward to stimulating the extraordinary economic benefits of a new project when we first mine copper products in 2019," said Stephen Twyerould, president and chief executive of Excelsior.
