SMM8, March 30: U.S. President Donald Trump has signed a statement allowing targeted reductions in steel and aluminum tariffs in some countries, U.S. Commerce Department) said Wednesday.
The statement also said, "companies can apply for product liability on the basis of insufficient quantity or quality of steel or aluminum producers in the United States." In such cases, import quotas may be exempted and duties may be waived.
