SHANGHAI, Feb 27 (SMM) – Weather bureau of China's eastern coastal Jiangsu province lifted the smog orange alert for eight cities along the Yangtze River on 14:00 CST Wednesday February 27, as wind is likely to carry air pollutants away from the area.
The eight cities include Nanjing, Wuxi, Changzhou, Jiangsu, Nantong, Yangzhou, Zhenjiang, and Taizhou.
The second-severe orange alert had lasted for five days as of February 27. Five cities in the north of Jiangsu escalated their smog-alert from yellow to orange on Friday February 22.
