Nickel ore inventories at Chinese ports rebound to 12.94 million wmt

Stocks gained some 140,000 wmt from a week earlier to stand at 12.94 million wmt as of Friday Feb 22

SHANGHAI, Feb 22 (SMM) – Nickel ore inventories across all Chinese ports gained some 140,000 wmt from a week earlier to stand at 12.94 million wmt as of Friday February 22, SMM data showed.

In metal content, stocks expanded by 1,300 mt this week and came in at 108,000 mt.

Stocks across seven major Chinese ports rose 30,000 wmt to 10.43 million wmt.

Prices of medium-grade nickel ore remained at $75/wmt in November. Shipments from the Philippines, sold over the previous periods, declined sharply amid the rainly season and cargoes in the spot market thinned.
