Report: Shandong's copper foil project to begin construction in March

It is designed with an annual capacity of 20,000 mt

SHANGHAI, Feb 18 (SMM) – The Dongying economic & technological zone in the northern province of Shandong signed an agreement with D&R International Capital Management (Hong Kong) to construct a copper foil project with an annual capacity of 20,000 mt, according to a recent local news release.

With an investment of 1.4 billion yuan, the project is expected to have annual output value of 3 billion yuan upon full production. All products will be exported.

Construction is slated to commence in March, and a partial capacity of 5,000 mt will commission by the end of October.
