China’s crude steel output up 6.7% in Jan-Nov

China produced 77.62 million mt of crude steel in Nov, up 10.8% year on year

SHANGHAI, Dec 14 (SMM) – China produced 77.62 million mt of crude steel in November, 10.8% higher than November 2017, showed data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on Friday December 14. Year-over-year growth came in at 9.1% in October.

In January-November, crude steel output stood 6.7% higher than the same period last year, larger than the 6.4% increase in January-October.
