Primary aluminium social stocks decease over the weekend

Stocks came in at 1.466 million mt as of Monday Nov 12, down some 19,000 mt from Thursday Nov 8

SHANGHAI, Nov 12 (SMM) – Social inventories of primary aluminium across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, came in at 1.466 million mt as of Monday November 12, down some 19,000 mt from Thursday November 8, SMM data showed.

Details:

Wuxi, Jiangsu – 636,000 mt

Shanghai – 340,000 mt

Nanhai, Guangdong – 211,000 mt

Gongyi, Henan – 76,000 mt

Hangzhou, Zhejiang – 102,000 mt

Tianjin – 53,000 mt

Linyi, Shandong – 25,000 mt

Chongqing – 23,000 mt

Social inventories of lead ingots across Shanghai, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Tianjin expanded 13,600 mt from last Friday July 23 to 172,600 mt as of July 30. This was up 6,500 mt from Monday July 26 and registered a new high since October 2014.
