Imported copper concentrate TCs flat on week

TCs were mostly offered at $90-94/mt, with traded prices standing above $90/mt

SHANGHAI, Nov 9 (SMM) – Offers for imported copper concentrate treatment charges (TCs) went flat over the week ended November 9 as the market looked ahead to the CESCO Asia Copper Week to be held in Shanghai on November 13-16.

The TCs were mostly offered at $90-94/mt, with traded prices above $90/mt. The market showed greater interest in forward cargoes for delivery in the first quarter of 2019, SMM learned.

We retained our estimates for the 2019 benchmark TCs in long-term contracts at $80-85/mt.
