SHANGHAI, Nov 2 (SMM) – Sales of heavy truck inched up 2% month on month to stand at 79,000 units in October, industry data showed on Thursday.
Industry data provider CVWorld. cn, also reported an year-over-year decline of 14% for heavy truck sales in October, marking the fourth straight decrease on the year. On a yearly basis, China's heavy truck sales fell by 23% in September and August, and 17% in July.
A total of 974,900 heavy trucks were sold across Chinese markets in January-October, standing 1% higher than the same period of 2017.
