Alumina, aluminium plants' operation in Lvliang not affected in 2018/2019 winter cuts

SHANGHAI, Oct 31 (SMM) – Local winter cuts will not affect production across alumina and aluminium producers in Lvliang of Shanxi province, according to a detailed schedule for staggered production released by Lvliang government on October 29. 

Other local industrial plants will also embark on staggered production from November 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019. 

Power plants owned by alumina and aluminium producers are exempt from the curbs if they meet ultra-low emission standards, according to the release.
