SHANGHAI, Oct 23 (SMM) – Nanjing Iron and Steel in Jiangsu province settled the purchasing price of manganese ingot for its November tender at 16,950 yuan/mt this week, SMM learned.
This is 2,250 yuan/mt, or some 12% lower from its October tender. The price would be paid in acceptance and includes transport costs and tax.
This tender was concluded in procurement volume of 600 mt, while the steelmaker was intended to purchase 1,000 mt.
