SHANGHAI, Sep 25 (SMM) – Overstock at ports in Lianyungang of Jiangsu province pulled up the nickel sea freight from the Philippines in the recent week, when nickel mines in the country stepped up selling before rainy season in late October.
As of Tuesday September 25, nickel sea freight from Surigao in the Philippines to Lianyungang ports rose $1/wet mt (wmt) from last week to stand at $10.5/wmt, SMM learned. The ocean freight also grew $1/wmt on the week to $13.5/wmt for cargoes from Pomalaa in Indonesia to Lianyungang ports.
