SHANGHAI, Jul 30 (SMM) – Some 62 vessels with 8.98 million mt of iron ore are expected to arrive at major Chinese ports during July 27 to August 2, SMM data showed.

This is down 260,000 mt from 9.24 million mt during July 20-26. The decline will slow from the previous drop of 490,000 mt recorded on Monday July 23.

For the same period, volumes of iron ore departing Australian ports are likely to decrease 440,000 mt to 15.5 million mt due to maintenance, and those leaving Brazilian ports are also likely to shrink by 180,000 mt to 7.92 million mt.
