Hebei mill settles August silicomanganese tender lower

A large steel mill in Hebei province has settled the August tender of silicomanganese lower at 8,500 yuan/mt

SHANGHAI, Jul 27 (SMM) – A large steel mill in Hebei province has settled the August tender of silicomanganese at 8,500 yuan/mt, down 100 yuan/mt from that of July, SMM learned on Friday July 27.

The purchasing volume stood at 29,250 mt.

According to the latest release of the General Administration of Customs and SMM statistics, in December 2021, the ferro-silico-manganese exports stood at 6613.32 mt, a 9.33% decrease month-on-month, an increase of 20.02% year-on-year.
