High-grade NPI price inches up on tight supply

A cargo of high-grade nickel pig iron (NPI) was heard traded at 1,100 yuan/mtu delivered to mill this week

SHANGHAI, Jul 27 (SMM) – A cargo of high-grade nickel pig iron (NPI) was heard traded at 1,100 yuan/mtu delivered to mill, SMM learned.

Bought by a stainless steel mill in east China, the cargo was concluded 20 yuan/mtu higher than a week ago due to tighter spot materials and higher nickel prices.
