Iron ore arrivals at Chinese ports to shrink further

Some 64 vessels with 9.24 million mt of iron ore are expected to arrive at major Chinese ports during Jul 20-26

SHANGHAI, Jul 23 (SMM) – Some 64 vessels with 9.24 million mt of iron ore are expected to arrive at major Chinese ports during July 20-26, SMM data showed. This is down 490,000 mt from 9.73 million mt during July 13-19.

For the same period, volumes of iron ore departing Australian ports are likely to increase 490,000 mt to 15.94 million mt, and those leaving Brazilian ports are likely to rise by 190,000 mt to 8.1 million mt.
