Iron ore arrivals at Chinese ports continue to fall

Some 68 vessels with 9.73 million mt of iron ore are expected to arrive at major Chinese ports during Jul 13-19

SHANGHAI, Jul 16 (SMM) – Some 68 vessels with 9.73 million mt of iron ore are expected to arrive at major Chinese ports during July 13-19, SMM data showed. This is down 320,000 mt from 10.05 million mt during July 6-12.

For the same period, volumes of iron ore departing Australian ports are likely to increase 720,000 mt to 15.45 million mt, and those leaving Brazilian ports are likely to rise by 170,000 mt to 7.91 million mt.
