DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsConsultingSHANGHAI, Jun 27 (SMM) – A high-grade nickel pig iron (NPI) producer in north China resumed operation as of Wednesday June 27 after a week-long suspension on environmental review by the central government, SMM learned.
Some 2,100 mt of production was affected, which is equivalent to just over 180 mt in nickel content.
The plant produced 9,000 mt of high-grade NPI in May, accounting for nearly 3% of China's total production last month.
