SHANGHAI, Jun 21 (SMM) – Social inventories of long steel in Guangzhou, Guangdong province rose over the week that ended on Thursday June 21, the first increase after 13 consecutive weeks of declines, SMM data showed.
Overall long steel social inventory, including rebar and wire rod stocks, went up 3.5% from a week ago and stood at 1.09 million mt as of June 21.
Rebar inventories gained 2.3% to 793,400 mt and stocks of wire rods increased 6.7% to 295,500 mt.
