Long steel inventories in Guangzhou shrink for 10 consecutive weeks

Social inventories of long steel in Guangzhou, Guangdong province shrank over 7.7% on the week and stood at 1.35 million mt as of Thursday May 24

SHANGHAI, May 24 (SMM) – Social inventories of long steel in Guangzhou, Guangdong province shrank over 7.7% on the week and stood at 1.35 million mt as of Thursday May 24, SMM data showed. This marked the 10th consecutive week of decline.

Rebar inventories fell 46,600 mt to 948,100 mt and stocks of wire rods dropped 66,800 mt to 405,000 mt.
