SHANGHAI, May 11 (SMM) – SMM assessed imported clean copper concentrate treatment charges (TCs) at $71-78/mt on Friday May 11, unchanged from a week ago.

Few transactions were heard in the market during the week amid lacklustre demand.

Vedanta's copper smelter at Tuticorin in India remained shut as of May 11, SMM learned. This followed the smelter started a 15-day scheduled maintenance from March 27. It is unclear when it would resume operations.
