Major mills' daily crude steel output up 1.9% in mid-Apr

Average daily output of crude steel across 96 major Chinese steel mills during April 11-20 stood at 1.91 million mt, up 1.87% from the level seen during April 1-10.

SHANGHAI, May 7 (SMM) – Average daily output of crude steel across 96 major Chinese steel mills during April 11-20 stood at 1.91 million mt, up 1.87% from the level seen during April 1-10, according to data from China Iron and Steel Association (CISA).

Meanwhile, the average daily output across the whole country was estimated at 2.44 million mt, up 1.06% from April 1-10.
