SHANGHAI, Apr 10 (SMM) – Transactions for Ni 1.5% medium-grade nickel ore from the Philippines were seen at $33/wmt for cif this week, unchanged from a week ago, SMM research found.
A plant in north China purchased the cargoes.
In the short term, SMM expects prices of nickel ore to remain firm given tight supplies.
