SHANGHAI, Apr 9 (SMM) – A total of 74 vessels with 9.91 million mt of iron ore are expected to arrive at major Chinese ports during April 6-12, SMM learned. This will be up 370,000 mt from a week ago.
For the same period, the volumes of iron ore departing Australian ports are likely to be down 1.38 million mt week on week to stand at 14.58 million mt due to port maintenance; those leaving Brazilian ports are likely to be 370,000 higher to reach 7.18 million mt as the routine port maintenance earlier this month ended.
