SHANGHAI, Apr 3 (SMM) – As part of efforts to eradicate ditiao steel and optimise capacities, the city of Tianjin raised incentives for reporting production of ditiao steel, SMM learned.
Last week, authorities raised the reward from 10,000 yuan to 500,000 yuan.
Ditiao steel refers to poorly manufactured steel products that pose a threat to environmental and construction standards.
