Aluminium inventory down for two weeks

China's inventory of aluminium including SHFE warrants stood at 2.23 million mt as of Monday April 2, according to SMM data.

SHANGHAI, Apr 2 (SMM) – China's inventory of aluminium including SHFE warrants stood at 2.23 million mt as of Monday April 2, according to SMM data. This is down from 2.24 million mt on Thursday March 29 as it has dropped for two weeks in a row from a high at 2.29 million mt on Monday March 19.

Details are as follows:

Wuxi, Jiangsu – 900,000 mt

Shanghai – 444,000 mt

Nanhai, Guangdong – 421,000 mt

Gongyi, Henan – 195,000 mt

Hangzhou, Zhejiang – 159,000 mt

Tianjin – 52,000 mt

Linyi, Shandong – 37,000 mt

Chongqing – 19,000 mt
