SHANGHAI, Mar 12 (SMM) – To fight severe air pollution, the city of Tangshan issued an emergency notice for all steel mills to suspend operations between March 12-14, SMM learned.
Puyang Steel in Hebei Province will close two blast furnaces of 680m³ and 1080m³ from March 12-16, and maintain two blast furnaces with a combined daily output of 8,000 mt.
