Iron ore port inventory inches up further

Iron ore inventory at 35 Chinese ports grew 2.2 million mt week on week to 148.68 million mt as of Friday March 2, SMM data showed.

SHANGHAI, Mar 2 (SMM) – Iron ore inventory at 35 Chinese ports grew 2.2 million mt week on week to 148.68 million mt as of Friday March 2, SMM data showed. Daily average volumes delivered from ports were up by 795,000 mt to 2.58 million mt as the industry came back from the Chinese New Year holiday.
