DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsCar InsightSHANGHAI, Jan 8 (SMM)-China’s nickel pig iron (NPI) output in December dropped slightly to 40,400 mt in December, down 1.8% on a monthly basis and up 10.9% on a yearly basis, according to SMM data. Total output in 2017 reached 423,500 mt, up 8% from 2016. The main reason for the drop in December was a 20.7% output decline of low-grade NPI due to rising costs and weaker demand.
