CISA member steel mills daily output down 1.5% in late Nov

Both steel output and inventory fell in the last 10 days of November.

SHANGHAI, Dec 13 (SMM)-Member steel companies of China Iron & Steel Association recorded a daily average production of 1.76 million mt of crude steel during the last 10 days of November, down 1.5% from the second 10-day period of November, according to the latest CISA statistics. Steel inventory for major producers stood at 11.73 million mt at the end of last month, down 4.9% from the previous period.

Nation-wide, CISA estimated daily crude steel output at 2.23 million mt during November 21-30, down 1.3% from November 11-20.
