SHANGHAI, Dec.8 (SMM)-Peru’s Doe Run submitted a restart plan of La Oroya smelter on Dec.7th, which is expected to finishe work within 4 months with a budget of $108 million. La Oroya mainly smelts copper, zinc, lead, silver and gold.

Peru is the world’s second largest copper & zinc producer and fifth largest gold producer. It is also the world’s largest silver producer.
