China Aluminium: China being Considering to Cut down Aluminium Output

Chen Xuesen, vice director of strategic development Dept. of China Aluminum, says on a seminar in Fuzhou, Chinese government is researching on detailed measures to keep cutting down aluminium output.

SHANGHAI, Nov.16 (SMM)-Chen Xuesen, vice director of strategic development Dept. of China Aluminum, says on a seminar in Fuzhou, Chinese government is researching on detailed measures to keep cutting down aluminium output. China has approved 44 million tonnes capacity this year. But in 2020, China’s domestic aluminium demand will keep at 42 million tonnes. Hence current capacity is able to meet that demand.
