Nickel Mineral Inventory at Lanshan Port

1.85 million wet tons of nickel minerals were in stock at Lanshan Port last Friday.

SHANGHAI, Nov 13 (SMM) – According to SMM, 1.85 million wet tons of nickel minerals were in stock at Lanshan Port last Friday, 50,000 wet tons more than the Friday before last. One cargo ship has been discharged and 3 cargos are expected to arrive this week.

Stainless steel consumption has improved significantly month-on-month in July, but remained weaker than the same period last year. Inventories extended declines, suggesting robust sales in major markets, but remained higher compared to July 2019, according to the recent SMM survey.
