Goldman recently raises price of future nickel in three months from $9,000 to 12,500 per tonne.

SHANGHAI, Nov.7 (SMM)-Goldman recently raises price of future nickel in three months from $9,000 to 12,500 per tonne. It also says since the demand surge of electric cars industry will appear after 2020, nickel price is more likely to get short-term support from China’s air pollution control. The bank released a report, saying because of favorable macroeconomic environment and drop of China’s nickel pig iron output, the nickel price is estimated to keep high in future months.
